- Christopher Eccelston was never a fan of Doctor Who when it was first broadcast in 1963-1996. He watched a DVD Of Tom Baker the fourth Doctor to prepare!

- Christopher Eccelston quit the show the day after the series was commisioned for a Second!

- On Saturday 5th March 2005 a rough copy of Rose was leaked onto the internet by a third party contractor from CBC In Canada!

- Series One was broken up into FIVE Production blocks!

- When Series One was being produced, people were desperate to get preview tapes. A Producer had an idea of labeling the tapes Torchwood which is a anagram of Doctor Who. It worked! And later became the popular Spin-Off!

- Series One's 13 episodes had to introduce a teaser because the episodes were too short! This has become something for every DW Episode!
